Recommeded 3rd party UPnP server software

The following 3rd party UPnP server software have been tested to work with Lightning DS:

• Minimserver
• Asset UPnP
• Twonky

For the other UPnP server software, you may experience some compatibility problem when you try to add the music library, in this case, we suggest you to try out our Lightning Server for best user experience.

The list of UPnP server software that wont work with Lightning DS

• MiniDLNA

And any hardware / NAS use MiniDLNA open source code, such as:

• WD My Cloud's built in server
• Netgear Router's built-in server
• Netgear ReadyNAS's built-in server
• Vortexbox's (if use MiniDLNA)
