Is there any sound quality difference between Ethernet and WiFi?

The circuits of wired and wireless connections inside Lightning device have been designed for the same high performance. They should sound the same theoretically. But in real world, the situation may vary; the wireless connection could sound better if your WiFi network is good for streaming audio.
