Will Lightning Server detect file changes on shared folder?

It is unfortunately not possible at right moment. After you have changed the music file stored on network shared folder, you will need to use 'Rescan' function under Music Library setting page inside Lightning DS to let Lightning Server rescan the change. 

The 'Rescan' function will only compare changes on network shared folder so it wont take long to complete.
