What can ALTAIR do?

ALTAIR can work as a full function streamer / music server or a stand-alone DAC. When working as a streamer, you can:

• Stream music from NAS or computer.
• Stream music from TIDAL, Qobuz through Lightning DS.
• Stream music from Deezer, Spotify, Pandora through AirPlay or Bluetooth.
• Use it as a RoonReady endpoint with your Roon software.
• Use it as a virtual sound card of your computer through Songcast.

If you prefer to use it as a stand-alone DAC, then you get:

• AES/EBU input with sampling rate support up to 24Bit/192K
• Coaxial input with sampling rate support up to 24Bit/192K
• Toslink input with sampling rate support up to 24Bit/192K
• Asynchronous USB input with sampling rate support up to 32Bit/384K with DSD64, DSD128 and DS256 support (DSD256 is not available for Mac OS X).
