Can I bypass the volume control of ALTAIR?

Yes, simply set the volume number at 100 and it will pass the internal volume control completely. This setting make no difference with other manufacutere's so-called 'by-pass' mode which essentially do the same thing: set the volume register inside DAC chip to the maximum. 

If you are experience remote key conflict that your pre-amplifier's remote also controls ALTAIR, you can re-assign the volume control remote key of ALTAIR through device menu option.
