Electromagnetic interference is a constant concern in audio engineering, and the all-new G2 line of components uses some special technologies to make sure audio signals remain crystal-clear and free from EMI.
Galvanic isolation is the technique of separating distinct circuits from each other physically, while allowing data to flow between them. Just like in the ARIES G2, in the VEGA G2 we've built high-speed galvanic isolators and placed them between primary circuits, allowing the separated systems to communicate with each other without current flow -- or EMI -- between them. Along with super-quiet power supplies and the brand-new sound-dampening Unity Chassis, Digital Audio Galvanic Isolation helps make the VEGA G2 a full 80% quieter than the original VEGA.
